Self-Pay Teletherapy: KRkidz operates on a private self-pay model for individual families, offering direct access to bilingual speech-language and feeding/swallowing therapy without the wait times or restrictions often tied to insurance panels. This allows for flexible scheduling, individualized treatment planning, and a level of continuity and personalized care that isn’t always possible within traditional insurance-based practices.

KRKidz is in the process of being credentialed with commercial insurances. At this time KRKidz does not accept insurance.

Out-of-Network Benefits: While we do not bill insurance directly, families may be able to use their out-of-network benefits to offset the cost of services. Upon request, we provide a superbill — an itemized receipt with the appropriate diagnostic and procedure codes — that families can submit to their insurance company for potential reimbursement. It is the family’s responsibility to check with their insurance provider ahead of time to understand their specific out-of-network benefits, coverage, and reimbursement process.
